1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us — by email or through a form on this site — we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message. Information collected automatically. Our site is hosted by Squarespace, which collects standard technical information when you visit: pages viewed, referring website, browser and device type, and approximate location. Squarespace also sets cookies that are necessary for the site to function (such as security and load-balancing cookies) and, unless disabled, cookies that support built-in site analytics.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and correspondence.
- To operate, maintain, and improve this website.
- To comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. When we share information
We share information only with the service providers that operate this site on our behalf — currently Squarespace (website hosting and analytics) and Google Workspace (email) — and only as needed to provide those services. We will also disclose information if required by law or legal process.
4. Cookies
You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site function. For details on cookies set by our host, see Squarespace's cookie policy at squarespace.com/privacy.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by writing to david@exoduscq.com. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request its deletion; we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
6. Data retention
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and meet legal or record-keeping requirements, then delete it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The current version will always be posted at exoduscq.com/privacy, with the revision date shown above.
